![]() Schedule of ratings-musculoskeletal system. Measurement of ankylosis and joint motion. Principles of combined ratings for muscle injuries. Ratings for service-connected disabilities requiring hospital treatment or observation.Ĭomplete medical examination of injury cases. Prestabilization rating from date of discharge from service. Rating of disabilities aggravated by active service. Total disability ratings for pension based on unemployability and age of the individual. And those are the characters that are probably most worth writing about, although all characters, as I said, are meant to serve an interconnected purpose overall.Total disability ratings for compensation based on unemployability of the individual. So they might serve some type of purpose, even if it's not incredibly significant, but I'm sure they have some type of importance in relation to the main and more dynamic characters. That would probably be pretty impossible. Where did your question come from- as in, what made you want to ask this ? I would imagine that static characters are never in lead roles of literature, as in, they're never a main character. What is a static character in a story? I know static means having no motion when I look it up.so does that mean a static character is a character that has no value in the story at all? Why would someone write a story about a character that does nothing in a story? That makes no sense! I do not think I am understanding this right. Sydney Carton is a very dynamic character. In the novel A Tale of Two Cities, Lucie Manette is an important character but a static one. If it doesn’t, and the person remains his usual self (perhaps he remains his cheerful self after the event, or he remains his bitter, selfish self), then we have a static character. ![]() ![]() (But it doesn’t always trigger a change.) If it does (and only if it does) induce a change in the person, then we encounter a dynamic character. ![]() A death of a loved one, an inheritance of immense wealth, or a big accident might trigger a change in a character’s personality, values, and perspective. Dynamic characters are those who do undergo change. Static characters are those who do not undergo an important change, those who do not undergo “an inner struggle” in the course of the story they remain the same all throughout. ![]()
